![]() The rounds are expensive but our mechanic can make the physicorium and our medic can deconstruct for more alien resources. I fully embraced gunslinger when I unlocked this. The first shot on a guardian in ruins takes half it's health and those things are crazy damage resistant. Combined with Quickdraw I can one shot a crew member if I'm not careful. The handcannon is the real hero of this tree. This doesn't seem like much but is worth a good amount of marks over an entire mission. Bounty hunter has a currency gain whenever the crew kills something.Drunken is likely the better choice between the two but I didn't want to carry ethanol and I spend my time at the helm or EVA so the harmonica buff didn't seem that great. I picked Sailor with no name over Drunken sailor.The damage boost is good with a revolver but incredible with a handcannon letting me one shot smaller creatures. Both of these work with the handcannon but I didn't want to have to ragdoll between shots with Tumble. I picked Quickdraw over Tumble for the higher first shot damage with my pistol.This unlocks revolver round crafting but I didn't see much of a need for it because my crew didn't favor revolvers so I always had plenty of ammo. ![]() Because I got to this tree quickly I was able to get weapons skill to 70 without much crafting or shooting. Once upon a time in Europa is surprisingly good.I wanted to be better in combat for EVA and the Shipmaster tree relies on giving commands to crew, which I always forget to do in MP games. Gunslinger: I chose this second for two reasons. I picked Trucker over Down with the Ship for the extra 250 exp and the fact that we rarely completely flood.We rarely have intruders on our sub after a few hull upgrades and I tend to max out helm skill quickly while playing captain I picked Traveling Salesman over Evasive Maneuvers because evasive seemed useless to me.This is the best first choice as it helps your crew unlock talents and allows you to level faster than anyone else. I typically ask the crew who is close to leveling up and hand them out to unlock their skills a little earlier. This has allowed me to almost completely fill all three trees by the third biome. When I hand out commendations I also get that experience. Each time we complete a mission, even a simple beacon station, I get an extra 1000 experience to hand out. The commendations granting exp are a huge boon for the whole crew. Skipper: I believe this is the best tree for the class in team play. In my first playthrough as captain I chose my trees in this order: Skipper > Gunslinger > Shipmaster
